Directions for Use:

Hold the animal ensuring no movement is made at the time of application. Hold the clip between your thumb and index finger near the locking end of the clamp. Place the end of your thumb on top of the ridge on the locking bar and snap clip onto navel cord close to the skin of the body. Do so immediately after birth or as soon after birth as possible, preventing bacteria from entering the cord.

IMPORTANT:

For easier application, close and open the clip once before applying as this will loosen the lock.

After 24-36 hours the clip may be removed as the cord will be dry and sealed. Remove clip by simply opening the lock.
