Elastorator Band - for Rectal Rings ( Bag of 100 )

Item #:

43803

A non-surgical method of correcting a prolapsed rectum in swine, sheep and cattle. Elastorator bands are applied over the prolapse area onto the plastic rectal ring or probe, preplaced and oriented at the base of the anus. Grooved area of the probe is at the anal sphincter base inside the anal lumen. The elastorator band is released onto the groove, sealing tightly and securely onto the exposed rectal tissue at the base of the anus. Pressure necrosis causes the exposed tissue to fall off after 10 to 14 days due to lack of blood supply.
